A Tribute to Military Families

Veteran's Day Tribute to Military FamiliesToday being Veteran’s Day, I can’t help but to think about our military families and brave men and women in the Armed Forces. It’s thanks to them that we are able to freely go about our lives at home. It’s because of them that we are able to live without fear. So, here is a tribute to all of the military families out there from my family to yours.

A Tribute to Military Families

From the Bottom of my Heart, Thank You

It may not seem like much coming from your local photographer, but my husband is a Coast Guard veteran and our community is full of military families just like us so we know all too well the kind of sacrifice our military men and women give.

I want to say thank you from my family to yours. We know those who are deployed have family back at home that they want nothing more than to get back to. There are families who may never see their loved one again as they gave the ultimate sacrifice. We know that your family just like ours cherishes every moment you get to spend with your loved ones as you aren’t sure when they may get a new assignment. We understand first-hand what it means to drop everything and move to a new place because your spouse is assigned to a new area. So I want to thank you. I want to thank you all for taking those sacrifices upon yourselves for the greater good.

I know that we can’t go back and thank those who have passed, but I hope that at the very least, our current military men and women know just how much we support them.

We Will Never Forget Your Sacrifice

Those who have been lost to war are not forgotten. The sacrifice that our current military men and women make every single day will never go unnoticed in my home. We designate one day a year to celebrate those who have served and passed but my family celebrates those lives every day. It’s because of our military that we are able to freely worship and so many other things that we all too often take for granted.

Why not think about a family session to celebrate your military spouse or loved one. Ask me about my military discount! If you’re interested, please contact me to set up your session.

“We recently used Erika for some family beach photos. She did an excellent job! She suggested a great location, did a wonderful job handling all our different family members (a toddler to great grandparents) and the photos turned out beautiful. Would definitely recommend her!” -Brittany C.
Sometimes (sooooo often!!!) I look back at these sessions and still, after nine years, cannot believe that this is my job. Who wouldn’t want to look at a face like that?! 🥹❤️
