Newborn photo sessions are always so precious because I know how fleeting those first days are. One minute your baby is so new and tiny and the next they are exploring everything with a whirlwind of energy and noise. I feel so honored to get to witness a few of the early moments of these precious lives, and help their parents capture the memories before they quickly change. Baby I – Hampstead NC newborn photography
This sweet boy arrived 9 days prior to the shoot. He was awake and very aware, until I brought out my secret baby sleep machine – the space heater. He quickly got comfortable on my posing pillow with the warm air and white noise gently caressing him to sleep. This newborn session happened to be during the week, so only mom was home. Normally I like to get parents and any siblings involved in a few shots, but this boy was lucky to have mom all to himself.
